Public Demonstrations:

If you are new to this type of event then hopefully this will give you a little insight into what you can expect from an evening spent in the company of Medium John Wattam at one of his demonstrations.

John is clairsentient, clairaudient and clairvoyant which means that John can feel, hear and see spirit. John doesn't choose who comes through to him during the demonstration, rather the spirits themselves choose to come through John. John is usually drawn to a member of the audience for whom spirit is trying to communicate. John will usually give very specific names of people in spirit who are communicating through him and also names of people in the audience and names of relatives both living and spirit side.

He may offer information such as age, addresses, character, profession, physical description, relationship to the audience member, shared memories and conditions of passing. This is John's main purpose to provide as much information as possible to show evidence of survival

beyond our physical existence. John obviously cannot prove scientifically that life continues after physical death, his aim to to provide a weight of evidence that for the individual concerned, is proof enough for them. When working John asks that you don't give him any information other than a yes, no or don't know. He will on occasion ask you to confirm that the information he has given to you is understood, again a simple yes, no or don't know will be enough. John will also provide specific dates for the audience member as way of confirmation. Messages he has picked up either clairsentiently, clairaudiently or clairvoyantly will be passed on.

Most venues require that John has a microphone clipped to his shirt so that everyone in attendance can hear him but he won't have any audio equipment near or in his ears. Audience members will not be asked to speak into a microphone whilst receiving messages via John as this can be very daunting for some people.

John's evenings are very lively events and extremely uplifting for everyone there, whether you get a message or not. Shows usually start at 7.30pm dependent on the venue and John will link with spirit for approx. 45-50 minutes. There will then be an interval for refreshments and after everyone is sat back down John will once again link with spirit and continue receiving and passing on messages for approx. 30 minutes.

So now you know what to expect please relax sit back and enjoy the evening and make up your own minds about whether you believe that life does continue on another plain.

Paranormal Investigations:

John investigates all types of haunted locations, from theatres to castles to hostalries to 16th century mansions and more... during investigations he will tell you who or what the spirit energies are that haunt that location and why they are there. John can also 'clear' locations of spirits should this be needed. John has had many successes in this field and has also been to peoples houses who have requested his intervention.

Criminal Work:

John has worked in the criminal justice system for many years. John has had very specific messages from his spirit inspirers regarding high profile unsolved murder cases. He is always happy to help the police when they call him in this area of his work.

Teaching:

John sees this area of his work as one of the most important. He feels that passing on the guideance and training he received when attending Spoldington Spiritualist Centre as a must. He helps trainee mediums focus and nurture their gifts and he also takes them on paranormal investigations with him as well as one on one tuition. He also regularly sits in open circles helping and guiding newbies to enhance and establish their gifts.
